Scarlet Petal

Boutique-sized, affordable, flexible, and VERY unique florist. Jenny worked with my husband and I on our vision for the floral decorations for our big day (which were our only decorations because our venue was so detailed and gorgeous on its own). We were looking for arrangements that were out of the ordinary and sick of dealing with larger vendors for our 200 guest wedding, and Scarlet Petal fit the bill perfectly.

I, like Carolyn, had a negative experience with Scarlet Petal (I am assuming for your arrangements they didn't do a pre-wedding mock-up either). They were my least favorite vendor and I will NOT being referring to anyone. It gets me really mad that they essentially took advantage of me. They charged over $7k for flowers that were EXTREMELY SMALL - especially the centerpiece arrangements Really Scarlet Petal, really? That is just sad.

So, as I already mentioned, they didn't do mock-ups, so I was just supposed to like the look when I see it ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING, I guess.

The bouts were not quality at all.

Overall, I think I could've done a better job myself.

When I voiced my issues with them post wedding, they didn't seem to care at all. They probably figured they had my money. Now they refer to themselves as professional. HA Scarlet Petal - you're barely professional.

(brides to be, this review may seem harsh but this company has irked me for a while now and this is the truth. Avoid Scarlet Petal!)

Absolutely amazing! They only do events so there is no overhead charges of running a floral shop. They did a wonderful job for our wedding and worked with us on our budget. Everyone was so impressed. We got beautiful flowers and little did they know it cost way less than going through a floral shop. Jenny, the owner, has been featured in theknot.com and numerous national wedding magazines!

Esther was easy to work with and the centerpieces were beautiful. Somehow she failed to include one of main colors though. Im not sure if the flower didn't have that color range this week or what, but it bothered me.
