Nestled in the heart of Bowling Green's downtown district is one of Ohio's true landmark treasures, the Cla Zel Theater. This edifice is a living historical monument that reflects a nostalgic era of Bowling Green's storied past. The theater was first opened in 1926, making it Ohio's oldest single screen movie theater.In 2000 the theater was purchased locally and once again in 2007. After multiple attempts to revive the historic edifice the Clazel Theatre was purchased in the summer of 2008 by Ammar Mufleh with a vision to transform the landmark into a multi-entertainment venue. The theater has now been transformed into a venue designed to present a dynamic array of entertainment possibilities. Movie house, live entertainment, wine bar, and banquet facility, the Cla Zel Theater offers something for people from all walks of life and bestows Main Street, Bowling Green, Ohio an invigorating leisure atmosphere.
