Chris and Jennifer Kennedy opened Bluegrass Bar & Grill in February of 2008. Having grown up in the restaurant business, Chris had always dreamed of owning his own restaurant. His joy for creating fine food combined with Jennifer's wine and special event background were a perfect match. Stirred with a passion for great BBQ, they wanted to create a unique and hearty menu all customers could enjoy. They loved the Sonoma Valley and when they discovered the Old Gris Mill located in Jack London Village in Glen Ellen, they knew they had found the ideal venue to pursue their culinary dream. Big, open BBQ place. We mad ethis the meeing place the night before he wedding if people wanted to get together. Kudos to Chris who handled a mix-up with the planning for this event really well. Make a reservation in advance, chill out on the deck or take the kiddos to watch the old grist mill turn.
