Sears

It was ok. They have alot of items, but their website had alot of stuff you can't register for (ie. stuff that you can't get in Canada even though the site is sears.ca) and when you register for something like towels, it doesn't record what color you wanted so people will get you whatever.

We registered at Sears so that all of the out of town guests had another option. They was a wide range of gifts we could put onto the registry and it was fun using the scanning guns! The only complaint I have is there was a lady that worked at the Midtown Sears location in the registry that kept saying to my guests that she thought we didn't have enough items on our registry and it was a disgrace! She even said to me one time that we should add more items, for some reason she couldn't wrap her little mind around the fact a) we had other registries and b) we have lived together for a couple years now and we didn't need more stuff at our house! We were not going to put things on the registry just because there were not many items on there!

All the gifts purchased from Sears (with Sears label and in the registry list) without a gift receipt were returned "as gift without receipt" and the Sears customer service lady wanted to credit only half of the price our guests paid for it. Also they did know where you should return them to, if it's a catalogue or a retail product, whatever it means... Guests were extremely confused trying to purchase online or by phone. Sears is really messy, for you and your guests. I got extremely disappointed with the store policy. Big headache to deal with!
