If you are looking for something extraordinary in live entertainment, then Southside Rhythm & Blues is the perfect choice for your event. We specialize in classic R&B, soul and jump blues. Rather than try to cover every style while doing none particularly well, Southside Rhythm & Blues is a collection of some of the city's best R&B artists. We have a groovin' rhythm section and hard hittin' horns backing up experienced and seasoned singers. We capture an old school sound with a modern edge.

For a more subdued dinner set, Southside Swing and Soul is available. A smaller variation of Southside Rhythm & Blues, Swing and Soul plays vocal and instrumental jazz standards at a comfortable volume. You'll hear the classics from Sinatra, Nat "King" Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and other greats.

After dinner is over, clear the dance floor, because Southside Rhythm & Blues is gonna get the party started. When we bust into our high energy versions of James Brown, Ray Charles, Sam and Dave, and Etta James (to name a few) everbody's gonna wanna shake their thang! Drummer/singer/bandleader Joe Pastor will emcee the event, making all the announcements and keeping the guests feeling like they're part of the party.
