Satura Cakes

They designed my cake color wrong, it looked ridiculous. I told them about the problem and they offered a simple apology and said the woman that decorated the cake did not speak good english. That is no excuse to ruin the most important cake of a brides life. Then another lady sent me some very rude emails and finally I got a partial refund. I sent them a picture of what I wanted and they put a cheesy yellow scroll work instead of gold and it was embarassing. My friend also got married at Crystal Spings and Satura Cakes gave her the wrong flavor cake.

Just be very careful and demand what you want to make sure you get what you want and what you deserve for a wedding cake.

We used Satura Cakes for our wedding in July. We live in Sacramento but got married in Burlingame so we did quite a bit of traveling to meet with all of our vendors. For our cake tasting we drove 2 hours to Palo Alto but let me tell you that it was so worth it! We ended up picking their red velvet cake with cream cheese filling w/ red currants and their shortcake with mango-passionfruit cream and red currants. It was the best cake I have ever tasted in my life! And it showed up looking exactly like how I had described that I wanted it. I could not be happier with them and I am already thinking of driving down there to bring home another cake!
