Woodstock Country Walking Tours is headquartered at Old Bailey Farm -- three miles up in the hills above the historic and famously beautiful village. We specialize in organizing private guided country walks for small groups of guests to Woodstock who want to experience the Green Mountains of Vermont on foot. We also offer guest accommodations in the historic homes on Old Bailey Farm: a turn-of-the-century farmhouse and a charming converted carriage house.

All our walks are either on private property not open to the public or rarely traveled back country roads. The operative word here is "walks." Gentle to moderate, averaging 3-5 miles or, if preferred, 5 to 7 miles and a bit more challenge.

Each of our walks brings distinctive variety, beauty, and surprise. Hidden gardens, descending ponds, long views, stone walls, singing brooks, towering Maples, charming country homes, high meadows, deep woods, wildflowers, wildlife, and peaceful adventure.
