Lobo's Mixed Grill

At the last minute, we changed our rehearsal dinner venue. I had read about Lobo's and how good the food is so I decided to give them a call. I was pleasantly surprised to actually get a quote from a vendor in Key West the same day. Reina was a pleasure to deal with and she and her husband did a wonderful job on my "Cheeseburger in Paradise" themed welcome dinner. First off it was a fraction of the cost of my other choice. Not to mention that Margaritaville wanted a $5,000 min. spend and Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger never got back to me with a quote. The cheeseburgers were the best I've ever had. The owner buys his beef fresh and grinds it the same day. We also offered jerk chicken, veggie burgers, and hot dogs. Reina made a delicious tropical cole slaw with mango that was to die for. Not to mention the onion rings- oh my god those were good. She also made a white and red sangria to put in my glass beverage dispensers that was a huge hit. They provided a chocolate chip cookie bar with shots of milk at my request- they're my favorite dessert. They were open to my bringing in 3 Key Lime Pies from The Blond Giraffe -my fiance's favorite dessert. All in all, I couldn't have made a better choice- it was exactly what we were looking for and more than we ever imagined.
