Goetz Catering

One of Goetz's selling points was that they would provide a wedding coordinator to assist with planning the day-of details.

Well, It turned out to be a disaster.

I sent the planner a time line and a list of requests. She did not follow it. She wasted 20 minutes of our reception trying to stage a terribly lit arial shot for our photographer and then yelled at our guests when they werent cooperative - i had SPECIFICALLY asked her not to stage that photo. She wasted another 15 minutes when she gathered all of our guests for the cake cutting WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE PHOTOGRAPHER - who was taking photos of individual families at the time.

She LOST our cake cutting service. She LOST our box of photo booth supplies.

She actually yelled at two of my bridesmaids who - in search of the ladies room - wandered into an "off limits" area of our venue.

I really did have a wonderful wedding day! It was romantic and sweet. My husband and i remember it fondly and regularly relive it through our photos. However, I was more stressful than it should have been... because of Goetz Catering. Needless to say, I was super disappointed and will not EVER use them again.

NIGHTMARE. TERRIBLE. RUDE. DISHONEST. UNPROFESSIONAL. DISORGANIZED and DISINTERESTED. I cannot say enough bad things about Ron Swafford and his sister Eileen. I had a wonderful wedding day, but it surely wasn't because of them. I have NEVER dealt with anyone more tactless and upsetting than the two of them. They are my singular wedding day regret!

Goetz was the preferred caterer of the venue that we'd chosen. My friends all told me that Goetz was so aweful that I should change venues. In retrospect, I really do wish I had listened to them.
