We wanted a registry that didn’t confine us to just one or two stores, and this one seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately, the site is still a bit cumbersome, and since they interface with outside sites over which they have no control, the service is only as good as the outside sites. Adding to and tracking gifts on the registry was a snap, but a couple guests had issues ordering from outside sites. Also, when we received items, the lack of paperwork from the shipper meant that we didn’t know who gave them to us. The MyRegistry customer service folks were responsive though, and hopefully they will work with some of the bigger online vendors to iron out the kinks as things move forward.
