Western Hills provides a wedding team of minister, coordinator, custodian and sound technician to help you achieve your desires and goals for a memorable occasion. Our minister is responsible for all weddings performed at our church. Under special circumstances, however, as a courtesy to the bride and groom, another pastor from other Christian denominations may officiate, if invited by the Senior Pastor. All couples are expected to meet with the pastor for premarital counseling. This is an excellent time to discuss the ceremony, as well as to explore the many challenges every marriage faces, and to ensure that your marriage will grown with you. Counseling will consist of two or three sessions scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
Western Hills wedding ceremonies are worship services, giving each couple a unique opportunity to express their deepest commitments. They are solemn, yet joyful events, reflecting the couple’s profoundest feelings. Our minister will suggest a ceremony and ways in which it can be made your own. Musical selections, both instrumental and vocal, should express praise, joy, love and marriage themes appropriate for a wedding, and they should also reflect the reverence and respect normally observed in church services.
