The positive: The food was excellent. Your guests will enjoy it. You, however, are unlikely to notice the taste due to the headache of dealing with this caterer.

The negative: Every aspect of their service was poor. They did not do everything we requested in the contract (for example, they set up one less table than we requested). We were told they would serve the food in nice silver chaffers. Instead, the food was served in an ugly, grease-spattered brown buffet server, and the salad served in a scratched and dented stainless steel mixing bowl. And be prepared for the extra add-on costs: After I had paid for the service that was defined in the contract, then they decided to start tacking on extra charges for decorating the cake (exactly as was specified in the contract), and having servers available (again, as was defined in the contract).

The managers are absolutely horrible to deal with. They don't respond to emails or phone calls, and when you come in to talk to them, they refuse to discuss things with you.

And don't expect to get your deposit back from them. They promised in in 2-3 weeks. Its 5 weeks, and still counting...

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. First of all, the Vegetable Lasagna I ordered tasted AWFUL at my wedding. When I called about it, they said they pulled it from my line because its "quality was questionable" and it "didn't look right." My vegetarian friends and family had to eat side dishes because there was no main vegetarian course available to them. They still made me pay for the bad food. When I asked that they just cover the price of the bad Lasagna, they said they would only cover a little over one hundred dollars when I paid over $220 for it. Please remember my total bill was nearly $2,700 (not including my missing $350 deposit).

They didn't provide skirting for my head table which I paid for.

They didn't send me back my $350 deposit even after they told me they sent it multiple times. It's over two months later and I still have not received the money they offered to send me.

The owner , Jim, will not speak with you. Every time I got ahold of him, he put me on hold and had me speak with someone else. Then, I was told if I had a problem with anything, I should call up Jim, the owner. Ugh.

I'm about to stand outside their buffet on Sundays to let people know of this awful service. There is NO way they should be voted Madison's best.

The food was good, but the service was not what I was expecting. They forgot to bring knives for the meal, didn't skirt some of the tables we asked for and were very slow to respond to inquiries.
