Chocolate Velvet

This vendor is based in Stoke. They consulted with us extensively on the design of the cake, heaps of examples to look at. They do specialise in chocolate cake as they name suggests, but we were happy with that! The bottom layer of the cake was chocolate mud and the top layer was white chocolate/raspberry. The cake was covered in white chocolate ganache, white chocolate panels and white chocolate seashells. It looked stunning and was absolutley delicious, we got tons of compliments on it. They weren't able to deliver the cake as our location was too far away, but they provided us with plenty of non stick mats and a box for the cake, plus reinforcing of the cake itself and it survived intact on its journey over the Takaka Hill.

Delicious chocolate mudcake, was huge hit.
