Goose's Acre

Our wedding guests were supposed to meet us at Goose's Acre after our rehearsal dinner. We called far in advance to reserve the downstairs area since we were expecting 50 - 100 people to show up. We then verified our reservations on three different occassions, the last of which was the week of the wedding. However, when we showed up, the downstairs was full. They had thrown out our reservation because we hadn't verified the reservation the day before. We would have if they would have told us it was necessary. We were under the impression that nothing more was needed from us as they told us earlier in the week when we had verified the reservation "ok great, see you on Friday." In addition, the management on site made no effort to accomodate us in any way, so we left and had everyone meet us at the bar at The Woodlands Resort which turned out better in the end. I would give Goose's Acre zero stars if possible. It's a poorly run business.
