The most memorable day of your life should take place in the most romantic setting imaginable. Rancho Capistrano's beautiful and private "Spiritual Oasis" features a variety of romantic settings including a shimmering lake surrounded by towering palms, weeping willows, and shady eucalyptus trees. The natural beauty of our lush property and exquisite details of the mission-style architecture provide the perfect scenery for photographs and videography of your special day.

The old California feeling of the Hacienda, a historic adobe ranch house built in the 1800's, is accentuated by its terra-cotta tiled terrace and mission-style fountains. Inside, the former private residence is decorated with vibrant stenciling, Spanish-tiled fireplaces, arched windows and doorways, and glass greenhouse doors that open onto the patio. The living and dining rooms of the Hacienda can be used for a social hour, displaying the cake or small receptions. Receptions can be set up in the Spanish courtyard, patio, and grassy hillside overlooking the lake, or by the pool along side the fragrant rose garden. The Sanctuary offers a large indoor church setting with a cascading waterfall and stained glass windows. Our picturesque Lakeside conference center offers a library and dining room, as well as another Chapel for more private weddings. From these facilities, large glass sliding-door walls open up to a beautiful view of our serene lakeside gardens and Spanish gazebo. Or, walk a quaint wooden bridge to the center of the lake where a small island of wildflowers encircles a beautiful gazebo.

Eliminate the concern of finding a restaurant nearby and arranging transportation from the church. As you conclude the wedding rehearsal, your rehearsal dinner celebration can be waiting for you. Then for your bridal party, family members, out-of-town friends and special guests, Rancho Capistrano also offers special packages that include overnight accommodations just steps away from your wedding celebration in cozy Spanish-style rooms.
