Terry Way Photography

We love Terry Way. We found him through a referral and looked at his website and gave him a call. We met with a few photogs but he was our first choice. We both loved his photojournalistic style, my fiance was impressed with the technical aspects (i.e. able to take shots with backlighting -- some photogs back away cuz it can be tricky) But most of all -- he's fun to hang out with! He listened to all our (my!) questions, he has good ideas and he's hilarious. He really set us at ease, and we know he'll get along well with all out extended family -- which means he'll get great shots of them, not a bunch of stiff looking portraits. All our interactions to date have been great. (friendly, yet professional, etc) We're looking forward to getting the photos from our wedding.

Postwedding update: our photographs turned out great. We have some very nice ones of us (which is good) and priceless ones of our family -- a couple terrific shots of our parents during the ceremony and some really great ones of some of the kids during the reception. We loved the photos so much, we included prints in our "thank you" notes, and gave them as gifts to our wedding party. Terry and Vallarie were very easy to work with post-wedding -- images were ready soon, they handled our order and accepted order changes all in a professional manner. I'd highly recommend them.
