Alchemy Salan and Day Spa

I had gone to Alchemy the day of my wedding for hair, nails and makeup. My nails where beautiful and the woman who had done them was wonderful and personable. My makeup person however was not such a delight not so much. When I had booked my appointments/package, the women had said there would be a makeup and hair consultation. When I had gone 1 week prior for the consultation, I was informed it would only be a hair consultation - - which the hair came out find the day of the wedding. The make-up was a different story. I ended up having to wait 20 minutes for my make up girl to get back from lunch. Then I had to wait another 5 minutes for the women to set up a space to do my makeup. I had told the women I wanted my makeup to look like a natural glow. The women took forever to apply the make-up. I ended up running 45 minutes late. Because of that I ended up so stressed out, I had to dash out of the salon, not really being satisfied with my make-up but needing to get back to the hotel to get my dress on for pictures (that I missed most of the time we had allotted for pre ceremony pictures). To that end, I just saw a couple of pictures of me on my wedding day and noticed I am wearing what looks like purple eye shadow. I’m not really a purple eye shadow girl and don’t really consider purple in the natural glow family. I would not recommend the bridal day package from Alchemy Salon. They have a fantastic Nail technician. I was very pleased with the updo. But I am very worried that my makeup has ruined my wedding pictures. I have yet to get them back from the photographer. Hopefully I’ll have some good black and whites.
