Quain Tull - Rock Star DJs

Rockstar DJ's does a good job of trying to personalize the music at the reception before your event. They had a more difficult time following through with that. I did not hear much of the music I had asked for and I (as the bride) had to wait 30 minutes to hear my own personal request and was postponed only for guests to start doing karoke at my own reception. They also played the same song more than once which was a little annoying.

Quain Tull from RockStar DJs is amazing!!! He was my DJ in July and I cannot say enough great things about him. He met with us beforehand and completely took all of our ideas and then turned them into a perfect mix for our guests. He checked in with me a few times throughout the night to make sure the music was up to my standards, and even asked me just before the last two songs, which ones I wanted to end on. He knew there were two songs I had on my must-plays that were left, one somewhat slow and one very upbeat - I wanted to end on the upbeat one so we could end the night on an excited and fun note. He was totally for it and played exactly the songs I wanted.

Besides his great personality and eagerness to please, Quain's work ethic is unmatched. He comes to each job with each and every song he needs; two laptops so he has backup in case one goes out; and he brings an internet access card so that he can literally get ANY song you decide you want, or a guest requests, without missing a beat! Also, I remember him saying that he has a tech guy take care of all the electronics and computer stuff so he can concentrate on keeping your schedule running smoothly, instead of worrying about fixing glitches in the middle of the reception.

Quain is just amazing and so fun to have at your event! He even had costumes backstage and asked my bridesmaids if they would like to dress up as The Village People and dance on the stage when he played "YMCA". It was hilarious and a great surprise moment that night. I enjoyed Quain's work so much that I am having him DJ at my parents' 25th anniversary party this weekend, yay!

Anyway, I've rambled on enough - but if you contact him, tell him Nicky and Kevin from the Fourth of July wedding say hi! I am very happy to repay him, in addition to his fee, by referring new brides to him!
