The Pump House Regional Arts Center, located in the historic La Crosse, Wisconsin water pumping station, offers a wide range of visual and performing arts activities and is a unique venue for weddings, receptions, and rehearsals. The Pump House contains three visual art galleries, the 140 seat Dayton Theatre, art education classrooms with kiln and ceramics workspace, a conference room and meeting areas. It is a fully handicap-accessible and smoke-free environment.
The Pump House is a nonprofit organization that has maintained this building as a cultural center since 1977. Funding is provided in part through private donations and memberships as well as assistance through the United Fund for the Arts and Humanities (UFAH). Further generous support is received from many area businesses throughout the tri-state region.
