Bastyr's Chapel is one of the Greater Seattle Area's truly beautiful locations for non-denominational wedding ceremonies. It is available to rent to the Community for Friday evening ceremonies, or Saturday/Sunday mid-morning or late-afternoon ceremonies. There are private changing areas for the Bride and for the Groom. There is also ample free parking on-site. The Chapel can comfortably seat 275 guests, and up to 400 people with additional chairs put in. Bastyr University Chapel was built in 1958 in the European style. Nearly 5 stories tall and 140' long, the sancturay is rich with hand-carved oak paneling, dark oak pews, and marble altars, columns, adn terrazo floors. 31 hand-crafted stained glass windows and brilliant glass mosaic artwork line both sides of the Chapel, washing the entire room in subtle color during daylight hours. Graceful gold-accented chandeliers add majestic lighting. The carved wooden pews run legthwise, giving a phenomenal view of the procession of the bride and groom. Fine workmanship, exceptional acoustics, and years of devotional use give the Chapel a unique atmosphere of grandeur and elegance.

Bastyr also has two locations for your reception. For Indoor receptions, you may use the Main Dining Room that can accomodate up to 200 people. For Outdoor receptions, you may use our Tent that can accomodate up to 75 people.
