As our wedding was on a small budget, we opted for fake flowers instead of real (plus, I wanted to keep my bouquet). None of us knew how to assemble our our arrangements, so we decided to have the Idea Center of Michael's Crafts do the work for us! The employee was very quick at putting everything together; however, the price was a tad high considering how simple the arrangements were. Also, the cake topper was cheaply constructed and flowers fell out a few times (we ended up not using it). We also had to tweak the arrangements ourselves to make them more appealing. If we had a bigger budget, we would had probably chosen a florist, but all in all, everything turned out fine.

5 STARS

We chose a DIY option for the invitations. We bought them at Michael's craft store and was able to use a 40% coupon to purchase them. We printed them ourselves, but the invitations came with a template to use that made creating the printing margins pretty fool proof. We loved the invitations and there really wasn't too much extra work involved.

diy! i love crafts so i did most of my wedding stuff from michaels! sign up for emails and get 40% coupons every week

Hobby Lobby and Michaels' staff practically knew me by name. Everytime you use a half off coupon at michaels, they give you another one! They also had wedding stuff on sale for half off almost every other week. It worked out perfect! Their invitations to print at home were great! I got so many compliments!

Cheap, and nice invitations. It's sort of difficult, because you have to wait for responses before you can get started on assembling these invites. However, don't wait until then to get your Word download from the website provided on the packaging. If you do not have Word, don't get these invites. Otherwise, they look great and the bow WILL stay on through the mail if you use the provided two sided tap sticker on it.

We used the BRIDES- Chocolate Pocket invite kit.

I created a lot of my decorations to my western themed wedding through Michaels arts and crafts store. The trick is, is to get the coupons in the wedding magazines to save moeny! Every bit helps.
