Description

Built in 1890, The WAX is a perfect example of turn of the century French Quarter architecture: cypress windows, spot sandblasted brick walls, original heartwood pine floors, exposed wooden white-washed beams with indirect lighting and a skylight for accent. The WAX can accommodate up to 350 for seated dinners & 500 for standing cocktail.

The Legend room, located above the Museum, is 4425 Square feet (Ceiling Height: 11'6" with 6 supporting columns spaced 15' 5" apart). The Legend Room is completely open with the exception of columns running down the center of the room.

Reviews

Museé Conti is a little unconventional and completely sensational. It's the perfect venue for a classy, fun, colorful wedding reception. We kept the wax museum part a secret from our guests and they loved the surprise when they walked in for the cocktail hour. Museé Conti is also located in the French Quarter, 2 blocks off Bourbon St. which was perfect for after party since 90% of our guests were from out of town. Beth, was a fabulous help. She was responsive, creative, supportive and made our wedding reception extra special. This is a truly a hidden gem in New Orleans wedding reception locations.
