Bates Mansion sits on forty-five glorious acres called Brook Farm. Brook Farm is improved by ten structures the most prominent of which is Bates Mansion. The other buildings at Brook Farm include the horse barn, the cow barn, the hoggery, the chicken house, the cheese house (scheduled for renovation), the green house, the corn crib, and various other historic buildings.
