The bakery at the Solon Mustard Seed was awesome. They make all natural wedding cakes and attend to special allergy needs of your guests so well. They even threw in a gluten free cupcake for one of my guests that has Celiac disease.
The cake was delicious and they duplicated the picture I brought in very well. Sara from the Solon bakery was so much fun to work with. The price was very reasonable too, for a practically organic cake.
The best food at any wedding I've ever been to - not your typical green beans and rigatoni. There is not a kitchen for use (other than for warming) at the Tudor House, but they did a wonderful job serving beef tenderloin, chicken aoli, potatoes and numerous side dishes with the freshest vegetables without the use of the kitchen. We got so so so many complements about the food. The wait staff was particularly great. They were sweet and unobtrusive and they handled things I hadn't foreseen without it really being part of their job that day. From start to finish, Mustard Seed did a fantastic job. Oh, and the appetizers were unique and tasty - cheese puffs and a grape truffle (grape rolled in bleu cheese and coated with almond) - yummy.
